Hey Guys,  I am Susan Taylor Delk- the face behind this blog.

 I just want to bring to you through my blog, a few little glimpses into my life.
Here you will find Randomness... let's get real here...  but in that randomness... you will also find some things I love, such as most importantly my amazing family-as I am newly married and still figuring this stuff out (I will keep you very updated on that if you want to follow and keep track of us), we are also adopting-so a big portion will be keeping you updated on that process, but also some other things I love that I think you'll be interested in such as art, projects, and recipes.  Because...Who doesn't like to cook, make some awesome stuff for their house?! 

 I am also in the process of fighting a battle for my health. While there is much more to my life than my diseases and disorders, (It gets old having these take over your life, so I definitely want to minimize this- I am not a diagnosis, I am a person.), I also realize that what I'm going through may in return help others through some of the same struggles.  I now have a wealth of information, that I only wished someone could have been able to give me when starting this process of finding out what was wrong, and regaining my health.  In case you are wondering what I have, in case my information might help you... I am currently diagnosed with: Late Diagnosed  (most probably went undiagnosed over a year-several years) Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Hypoglycemia,  High RT3 (hypothyroid), Adrenal Fatigue, IBS with possible candida infection, leaky gut/food allergies, and possible mold neurotoxicity.  I know it's a lot. In case you are wondering a lot of these are related and in fact caused by each other, especially since these things have been in my system a while.  I spent almost 2 years just trying to find answers to some sudden and ridiculous severe health symptoms.  So how long am I looking at for recovery?  Several months ago my doctor said possibly 1 year.   Once we clear up the Lyme and RMSF most likely the other things will be able to be fixed and go away as well, since they are all related.  More can be found in The Healing.

I used to have a big to be continued in this part- but now the surprise is OUT.  We are adopting!! We are so excited about this new adventure God is leading us on, and will keep you updated on that as well as appreciate your support and prayers along the way! :)

I also love God with all my heart, so in every entry, I hope to honor Him.  While sometimes recipes for the crockpot or ranch most likely won't appear to be all about Jesus, don't be surprised if you see Him wrapped throughout and within my writing. He's pretty much my life.
